Online Ticketing for Creative Social: Ajax powered by

On Thursday, Sept. 27, Creative Social, Durham Tourism and Spark Centre invite you to eat, drink and be inspired at the St. Francis Centre in Ajax. Durham Region’s creative roaming networking event is travelling to Ajax to kick-off the three-day celebration of arts and culture, Culture Days, and you’re invited!

Creative Social events have been successfully creating opportunity for the artistic and entrepreneurial communities across the region for the past eight months. Hosted on the last Thursday of the month in rotating local municipalities, the Creative Social aims to connect creative people to discuss opportunities for collaboration and new business in Durham Region. Each event includes inspiring key speakers, local food and entertainment, and the common desire to build a richer creative community.

“Creative Social is the perfect catalyst to Culture Days weekend in Durham Region,” said Kerri King, Tourism Manager for Durham Region. “This is a great opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the rich culture and heritage that Durham Region has to offer.”

On Sept. 27, Creative Social will bring the excitement to St. Francis Centre, which is located at 78 Church St. S. in Ajax, from 7 to 10 p.m. Event speakers include representatives from Durham Tourism and Spark Centre, Ajax Mayor Steve Parish, as well as an inspiring performance by the Eastside Harmony Chorus. Tickets are $10 and include admission, a welcome cocktail and featured foods from local caterers. Tickets are available online and at the Ajax Community Centre.

This event is also an opportunity for the public to celebrate the unique venue. “Creative Social aims to inspire and the St. Francis Centre does just that, this is one of the most incredible venues Durham Region has to offer. I’m really looking forward to hearing many “ooohs” and “ahhhs” through the evening.” says Event Coordinator, Dana Jackson. The music, the speakers, the food, the drink—it’s all here, alongside inspiring stories and opportunities to explore. Creative Social gives creative-minded people in Durham Region the opportunity to enjoy a fun evening out and make new connections which can develop into successful collaborations. See you there!
